KLM’s Engineering staff takes on the responsibility of guaranteeing the accuracy and thoroughness in the preparation of each evaluation report, reconditioning specifications, and new tank design. Our engineering team ensures your tank will be brought up to current AWWA, NFPA, ACI, OSHA, health, state and federal codes, and standards. Our engineers provide oversight and construction management during rehabilitation and new tower construction.

01 Evaluation Reports

KLM’s engineering department works hand-in-hand with our field inspectors to provide our clients with a detailed evaluation report. The report provides such documentation as:
  • Technical drawings
  • Photos and/or video
  • Construction cost estimate
  • Recommendations for repairs or structural modifications
  • Lead or chromium testing (optional)

KLM has created a proprietary specification process based on our extensive experience in water tower reconditioning and painting, usually in conjunction with our inspection and construction management services. We use a results-driven approach to create specifications that fit the unique requirements of your water tower throughout the rehabilitation process.
